Catalog Living

Hope everyone had a nice weekend – We had another relaxing one, Jim’s Mom and sister came up to visit on Sunday and we made our French Onion Sandwiches for them.  Superbowl half-time show was less than entertaining, but the game actually became interesting at the end!

One of my good friends recently introduced me to Catalog Living, a blog that gives you insight into the lives of the people who live in your catalogs.

This one is pretty good:

Testing the boundaries …

“Worried that their lives were getting too orderly, Gary rebelliously installed intentionally-crooked shelves and pulled the butterfly chair out a naughty 5 inches from the table.”

The authors have an amazing dry sense of humor that continually cracks me up – Hop on over to their site for more of Elaine and Gary’s catalog living adventures.

  1. Hmmmm…French onion sandwiches sound interesting!…As interesting as this catalog, apparently! {I love the butterflies on the back of the chair!}…And I liked the music from the half-time show. I’m a fan of “Peppy”, and the black-eyed peas are definitely that! But the block headed people and the glow in the dark suits….Not so much!! ^_^

    • Haha – Yeaa – I don’t know about everyone else, but the sound balance to our TV was awful (music was too quiet and their voices were too loud) so it just came out as an awkward-sounding performance :P

I forgot to put in a link to the sandwiches before, but it’s up now if you’d like to check it out!
