A Cross Process Autumn

Not really sure what “Cross Process” means, but it is definitely my favorite feature on Picnik

Here are some lovely shots of autumn trees I took while leaving work on Friday modified using the Cross Process editing option.  I think the feature gives each picture an older, yet bolder, look.

If you haven’t checked out Picnik yet – Do it now!  It’s a great, free resource for photo editing.

If you do use Picnik, what is your favorite feature?

(feel free to link to your own modified photos!)

  1. Cross processing is when you develop film (real film) using a chemical method other than the one it is designed for. For example developing slide film as print film, or vice versa.

In digital photography it is just a way to quickly imitate the same look.
