A Cross Process Autumn

Not really sure what “Cross Process” means, but it is definitely my favorite feature on Picnik

Here are some lovely shots of autumn trees I took while leaving work on Friday modified using the Cross Process editing option.  I think the feature gives each picture an older, yet bolder, look.

  1. Cross processing is when you develop film (real film) using a chemical method other than the one it is designed for. For example developing slide film as print film, or vice versa.

    In digital photography it is just a way to quickly imitate the same look.
