Creative Inspiration: Local Galleries

The Hrefna Jonsdottir Gallery and paintings by Tony La Salle (who has his own, self-titled gallery) are two local sources I am constantly awed by and draw creative inspiration from.

Tony La Salle has an amazing ability to capture the vibrance of color in painting.  You cannot help but be uplifted by his work.  I’m happy this painting was the one chosen to be displayed outside today because his sunflowers are one of my favorites.

The Hrefna Jonsdottir Gallery displays a compilation of a few various artists and I have found that though each artist has a distinct and unique style, I am equally amazed and inspired by all of them.

You can visit their gallery websites here and here for more information and thumbnails of the work displayed there.
