Today I have prepared for you pierogies two ways:
The first preparation begins with cutting the pierogi shape from wool felt and folding it over to create a pocket into which I stuffed a good amount of polyester filling. The pierogi is then sealed with a few stitches of embroidery floss and a loop of satin string is attached for easy hanging.
The second pierogi preparation is very similar to the first. However, instead of being hung from a loop of string, a silver bar pin was firmly sewn to the back and covered with matching felt for a finished appearance.
