This weekend Jim and I drove down to the Fruit and Spice Park for Grow Fest 2012!
We picked up some peppermint and culantro for our balcony garden and spent the day walking around identifying all the trees and plants that bear the spices and tropical fruits we see in the supermarket.
Best part? I was finally able to photograph a Cuban anole! We see these big, green lizards all over the trees here during peak wet season, but they are so skittish, it’s difficult to capture them on film:
