The wet season (summer and autumn) bring stifling heat, lots of humidity and swarms of mosquitoes to our area – So Jim and I decided that we needed to find a new outdoor activity (besides exploring the Everglades). We’ve been wanting to check out more marine-based state parks so we bought ourselves some snorkels!!
Yesterday, we drove up to Fort Lauderdale beach and swam around for nearly 2 hours – Befriending fish and collecting beach debris. I picked up some cool pieces of coral and Jim found a beautifully buffed piece of sea glass:
How was your weekend?
