Yesterday was the final launch of the Discovery space shuttle.
Since it was only mentioned as an afterthought on the local evening news, I felt like I should give it a little recognition here. This is the Discovery’s 39th and final mission – It is the most-flown spacecraft in history.

I saw a whole piece on it this morning. Some panels came off during take-off. YIKES!…They didn’t seem to worried about it. Let’s hope the final mission is final only for the spacecraft!!.
Gosh, I worked through STS91 with Discovery. Time flies…
